What materials do you use?
We use New Zealand made compressed polyester felt. The materials are light-weight, semi-rigid and have great acoustic properties. It has a stunning appearance with a beautiful felt-like finish that is the perfect material for pinboards, bedheads, wall art and tableware. Pinboards are regularly available in a range of colours, some of which are on a limited edition basis.
How long will my order take?
Most orders will be shipped within 2-3 days. If you have a specific date that you need your order by, then please let us know and we will let you know if we can get it to you in time.
Where do you ship and how much does it cost?
We ship our products throughout New Zealand using tracked courier services with PBT Couriers (https://pbt.nz).
Free Shipping on all orders over $150. This is applied automatically at checkout.

Please note that we cannot take responsibility for items that are lost during transit though we will do our best to work with the courier company to locate any missing items.

How do I install my pinboard?
Our pinboards are hassle free to install - no nails, drills and screws required. They come with special hanging strips that are pressed onto your wall. The hanging strips are removable too, so great if you need to change your room around. See Pinboard Installation Instructions and Bed Head Installation Instructions.
How do your pinboards look so great?
Our pinboards are made from premium New Zealand made materials and are precision cut and create stylish presence in a range of spaces including offices, kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces.
Can I cancel my order?
Once your order has been confirmed and paid for it can be cancelled so long as it is yet to be shipped.
Can I return or exchange my order?
All orders are subject to availability. If an order is received that cannot be filled, we will issues a refund for that item. Items in a cart are not reserved. Items that are ordered but where we are yet to receive the payment (via Internet banking) are also not reserved.
If for some reason, you are not happy with your order, please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org along with your order number to arrange for a store credit or exchange. Return postage costs must be covered by the customer, unless Pinpals reasonably agrees the item is faulty.
Return and Exchanges
You must notify us within 7 days of receipt of goods if you would like to return an item by emailing email@example.com
You must return goods to us within 10 days of us replying to your return request.
For courier damage we MUST be informed within 4 days of you receiving the goods.
For non-delivery issues we must be notified as soon as possible. Our couriers are generally very good but every now and then we get a stray ticket on one of our packages that can confuse things for a few days. We are pleased to say we have so far had a 100% delivery record. Thanks PBT Couriers!
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Sale items are not returnable.
You're responsible for returning the item at your own cost (unless the item is faulty). We strongly recommend a trackable shipping method.
For exchanges, please include your order number and the items you want to exchange and for what product. Please note that you will be charged a shipping fee for the dispatch of the replacement item. Your item will be sent once we have received and checked your return.
For faulty returns please include your order number, the faulty item and a photo so we can assess the issues and guide you through the process.
Colour discrepancies: We do our best to advertise our products accurately however we note that there are variances between colour settings on digital images. We are happy to send samples. Please make your choices carefully. If you would like a sample before purchasing please email us your contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org
How do I care for my tableware?
You can choose to pay by New Zealand bank transfer (details will show up in the check-out process) or with any of the major credit cards via our online shop.
