Pinboard Installation Instructions

Thank you for ordering from Pinpals - we hope you love your new pinboard as much as we do! We have included a few tips for installing your board below: 

 

INSTALLING YOUR NEW PINBOARD

 

Attached to your pinboards are some 3M Command Damage Free, Picture Hanging Strips.

• Make sure that your wall is clean, dry and dust free. If in doubt, clean the surface with rubbing alcohol, wipe gently, let dry.

• Remove the liners on the sticky strips, carefully position in the desired position, press them firmly onto the wall for 30 seconds. 

• Wait an hour before you mount anything on the pinboard. 

• If you are fixing your pinboard to a wall that has recently been painted, wait at least 28 days after painting before placement. 

• Our pinboards are very forgiving and can tolerate many kinds of pins (drawing pins, dressmaker pins, etc). Naturally small and narrow pins will leave less of a mark on your pinboard.
